3 simple steps to become a lead machine on LinkedIn
Everyone's obsessing over paid ads and cold DMs on LinkedIn.
But here's what actually works:
I've generated 1,000+ leads for my clients without spending a penny on ads. Just pure organic growth.
Here's the simple 3-step framework I used:
1. Solve ONE burning problem
Most people try to solve everything. Big mistake.
Pick the single most painful challenge your ideal client faces.
Build your entire lead magnet around that.
Example: If you're a marketing consultant, don't create a "complete marketing guide."
Instead, focus on "AI workflow for creating high-converting ads."
2. Build it in Notion
• Gather all possible questions about your topic
• Answer them thoroughly
• Package it professionally
• Make it interactive
The key? Make your free content better than most paid products.
(About 5% of people who grab free resources convert to paid offers)
3. Market it strategically
Don't just drop your lead magnet and pray.
Use these psychological triggers:
• Share valuable snippets, but leave out the complete solution
• Create urgency through limited availability
• Show social proof
• Use visuals to increase perceived value
If you struggle with creating good posts for lead magnets - try Posthero.
It has a special template for creating lead magnet posts that go viral.
Why this works:
• You're solving real problems
• You're building trust before asking for money
• You're creating a natural path to paid offerings
• You're building an engaged audience that stays
The truth? Information is now a commodity.
What people really pay for is implementation and results.
Stop chasing quick wins.
Start building trust.
The leads will follow.
Post Template: AI-Powered System Template
You can use the template below to create content faster with AI. Just provide your context and copy the template. It will help you create content following a viral post structure.
Template:
I've [ACCOMPLISHED_TASK] [NUMBER]+ [DELIVERABLE_TYPE] in [TIMEFRAME].
Here's my system to never run out of relevant [RESOURCE_TYPE].
(to attract [TARGET_OUTCOME_1] and relevant [TARGET_OUTCOME_2])
Create a doc with:
[DATA_SOURCE_1]
[DATA_SOURCE_2]
[DATA_SOURCE_3]
[DATA_SOURCE_4]
[DATA_SOURCE_5]
[DATA_SOURCE_6]
[DATA_SOURCE_7]
Label each category. This is your "[RESOURCE_GUIDE_NAME]".
Set up your [AI_TOOL] workspace:
Create a custom [AI_PLATFORM_1] or [AI_PLATFORM_2] Project
Upload your [RESOURCE_GUIDE_NAME] (the doc)
Upload this post's [REFERENCE_MATERIAL] as "guidelines"
Prompt it:
[Use this doc and the [REFERENCE_MATERIAL]'s [NUMBER] [CATEGORY_TYPE]. Give me [NUMBER] [OUTPUT_TYPE]. Focus on [PRIORITY_1], not [PRIORITY_2]. Use [FORMATTING_PREFERENCE] if possible. Don't use [AVOID_1] or [AVOID_2]. Call out my [TARGET_AUDIENCE] in a way that grabs attention]
(You'll get way more than [NUMBER])
Turn a [IDEA_TYPE] into a full [FINAL_OUTPUT] (bonus prompt):
Ask your [AI_TOOL] to use the "[FRAMEWORK_NAME]" from the [REFERENCE_MATERIAL].
Disclaimer:
The first draft won't be perfect.
Use the "[CHECKLIST_NAME]" to prompt better (or improve manually).
Here's how to improve it:
[IMPROVEMENT_TIP_1]
[IMPROVEMENT_TIP_2]
[IMPROVEMENT_TIP_3]
[IMPROVEMENT_TIP_4]
Want more from one idea? Try:
"[VARIATION_PROMPT_1]"
"[VARIATION_PROMPT_2]"
"[VARIATION_PROMPT_3]"
"[VARIATION_PROMPT_4]"
You don't need a [TRADITIONAL_APPROACH].
You need a [MODERN_APPROACH].
PS. Personally, I enjoy [PERSONAL_PREFERENCE], but this works if you don't have [CONSTRAINT] :)
