The 3 high-performing posts this week
"Can’t one person just handle all of marketing?”...said by someone who’s clearly never done it
Why this post?
This post went viral, receiving 12.9k likes in 6 days. It received 60-1,100 more engagement and views than Emily's posts this month.
BREAKDOWN:
Attention-grabbing quote hook: "Can't one person just handle all of marketing?"...said by someone who's clearly never done it" - immediately establishes expertise with humor
Strong opening statement: "Marketing isn't one job; it's a mashup of strategy, creativity, and data-driven chaos" - defines problem clearly
Comprehensive list structure: 13 different marketing roles with witty descriptions
Humor in descriptions: "Email Marketing - Writing emails you probably delete. They live for subject lines that scream, 'Open me!'"
Real pain points: Each description includes common challenges/frustrations (e.g., "When leads are low, it's their fault; when sales close, it's everyone else's win")
Perfect closing analogy: Compares marketing to running a restaurant - "like expecting a chef to run the kitchen, serve the tables, and wash the dishes"
HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN POST:
Start with common misconception as quote
Add expert commentary/correction
List comprehensive role breakdowns
Include humor and industry inside jokes
Add real challenges for each role
Use clear, relatable analogy
End with strong summary message
Keep descriptions concise but impactful

Why this post?
Another viral post this week—it got 62k likes in 4 days and performed 30-600 times better than Noemi's other posts this week.

Powerful reframing: "Every job becomes a stepping stone, Every role becomes a chapter" - changes perspective
HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN POST:
Start with costly mistake/warning
Share personal realization

3. Don’t stay where you're not fulfilled.
Why this post?
This post performed 1.5-30 times better than Chase's other posts this week.

Powerful visual quote: Uses striking pink wall text about starting over as anchor
Problem identification: Lists 3 clear consequences ("Worsening mental health", "A lifetime of 'what-ifs'", "A stagnant career")
Structured solution: Four clear steps with sub-points (Evaluate, Enhance, Move, Build)
Personal story element: "When I switched from law to recruitment... hardest decision I ever made"

LinkedIn strategies for 2025 by Jasmin Alic
Just watched an incredible interview with Jasmin Alic - one of my favorite LinkedIn experts.
Here's what he shared about winning on LinkedIn in 2025 🧵
LinkedIn is changing fast in 2025. Two things matter most: video content and how well you connect with others.
The biggest surprise? Text-only posts are still crushing it! While everyone's rushing to video, well-crafted text posts often get more engagement.
Here's what actually works:
Your first 3 lines are everything.
One of the most critical elements of your post is the hook—the first few lines that capture attention.
Bad Hook: “Today, I want to talk about the importance of networking.”
Good Hook: “Networking is the key to success—here’s how I landed my dream client through a single LinkedIn connection.”
Use pinned comments smartly.
Pinned comments are an underutilized feature that can significantly boost engagement. Drop extra tips or behind-the-scenes stuff in your first comment - it keeps the conversation going.
Ask easy questions.
Don't go with "What's your biggest failure?"
It requires too much thought.
Instead try "Ever had a failure that taught you something? Share below!" It's easier to answer.
Video isn't going anywhere - but start small.
Short clips sharing quick tips work great.
Focus on super specific topics in your field.
The secret sauce?
• Consistency + authentic engagement.
• Reply to comments.
• Build real connections.
• Focus on quality over vanity metrics.
What's your take on this?
Are you seeing text posts perform better than video on your profile?
